Rick and Mark presented Brian’s report in his absence. A check for $6,557 was written to purchase instruments.

Correspondence: None for this meeting.
Staff and Board Reports:
Brenda Dennis uniform report: Collection of uniforms went very well.  There are still a few items not returned.  Contact has been made with these students.  Dry cleaning has been returned to school, as have all skirts and dresses.
Skeffington’s price for used jackets was higher than I anticipated ($85.00 per jacket), so I went with a less expensive jacket ($55.00 new) from Southeastern Formal Wear (where we purchased the chorale tuxes).  20 jackets were purchased for a total price of $1177.00.  The jackets are currently at my house to be numbered and added to the inventory.
I’ve also purchased storage tubs and began removing items we currently do not use, in order to free up hanging space for items in use.  The vests, red shirts, blue shirts, and blue oxford shirts are all off the racks.  Would there be any interest at the elementaries in using the shirts or vests?  I’ll have an accurate list of quantity and sizes by the August
Old Business:
Greater Cincinnati Foundation donated $1,000 for music scholarships.
Rick Canter and Rick Towner continue to seek a new piano for PAC. They meet will Brian Giavonni at Henderson Music Store, West Chester. They hope a deal this summer. They will report at the fall meeting.
Board position update: Still seeking HS chorus person. Middle School orchestra position filled with Karen O’Connell.  Angela Murphy will be the Whitaker representative. Fall fundraiser leaders are being sought.

The Washington DC 8th grade trip has been moved to November.
Shawn Maus wishes to meet with fall fundraising leaders when they are identified.
